This dense, luscious cake has a texture a little like fudge and a little like cheesecake. It's more of a confection than a cake, in my opinion. A small slice goes a long way.

This is a week for bosses to express their heartfelt appreciation for their capable secretary with sumptuous delicious meal or bouquet of beautiful flowers.
I have to say I am one lucky secretary to enjoy both! We were indulge in the popular Japanese restaurant, although there isn't a wide selection of food, but the creation are really delicious. After a yummy lunch, there were bouquet of flowers delivered to the office for all the secretaries!

Food historians may differ about the origin of red velvet cake, some uses the entire bottle of artificial red food colouring, while some uses beets puree/juice. But one thing is certain: if you omit using artificial red colouring, recipe should use natural cocoa powder not dark or dutch processed (Hershey’s cocoa powder works perfectly but not the Special Dark variety).
The cream cheese frosting here has a soft consistency that's ideal for swirling or swooping. It's the classic choice for topping many cupcakes even carrot cake. It's easy to prepare, versatile and tangy.

Easter is this Sunday! I can't believe how quickly this year is flying by. I've done a Easter Day Project with Ellena - Cuisine Paradise yesterday and made this Easter gems inspired by Cupcake Project.
These are adorable and make a cute centerpiece for an Easter table. Instead of baking the cupcakes in paper liners, these are baked in the egg shells.
